Book Binding Workshop

About the Workshop:
November 4th 2017 from 4:00pm till 6.30pm at Pakistan Chowk Community Centre

This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to three different methods of bookbinding namely: Saddle Stitch, Japanese 4 Hole and Coptic Stitch. 
Each participant will receive a free bookbinding kit with which they will hand-stitch three books during the course of the workshop.

About the Instructors:

Saad Khurshid & Muniba Rasheed are Graphic Designers and Illustrators based in Karachi, Pakistan.

Graduates from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, Saad's studio practice focuses on typography, branding and illustration, whilst Muniba’s work is based primarily in packaging design and print media. 

Together in 2016, Saad & Muniba began conducting independent workshops that explore type making, bookbinding and printmaking techniques.

Registrations are on a first come first basis for the 15 available spots. If you are not registered, the PCCC will be unable to provide the necessary materials required to participate in the class.
