Pakistan Chowk Community Center initiates Urban Advocacy Seminar to cultivate a larger urban discourse and interest within the city. The Urban Advocacy Seminar would be an experiment of its kind bringing students, researchers, activists and urban enthusiasts together.

Are you an urban design thinker or lover of Karachi who wants to develop and present their research work?

Pakistan Chowk Community Center and Kitab Ghar Karachi are proud to initiate The Urban Advocacy Fellowship to cultivate an intelligent urban discourse and interest within the city. The Urban Advocacy Fellowship aims to bring students, researchers, activists and urban enthusiasts together to think through the challenges of the city – on Kitab Ghar’s open-source platform, free from institutional limitations or powerful interests.

Submit your proposal to us via Google Form by the 11th of June. If you’re selected, you will receive dedicated mentorship on your work by Marvi Mazhar and Zara Mannan over four sessions, from June 16th to June 25th. At the end of the mentorship sessions, Fellows will present their work at the Urban Advocacy Seminar at Kitab Ghar on the 29th of June.
